Don't believe all the hype that some cologne makers love to proclaim. The fact is every woman has a preference and the trick is finding out what hers is. What smells like heaven for one woman may have another woman's hairs on her back stand. The only certainty is that every woman likes a nice-smelling men. It's really one of the first steps towards getting to the first base.
For me, my favourites for my man are Obsession by CK (not too crazy about Eternity for Men) and Lacoste Essential. I am also a sucker for Drakka Noir and Polo (Ralph Lauren for Men). Old Spice is a little too strong for my liking and 4711 smells a little off. But seriously, as long as a guy smells good and doesn't over do it, I'm fine.
In order to find out what a girl likes you to put on, go shopping with her and get her to choose. Ask for her opinion and trust me, every woman has one when it comes to shopping. Whether it is going to mix well with your natural odor is another thing but at least if she chooses it, she has to live with it. It's what we call a woman's shopping ego.
