ON THE VERGE

Well congratulations to the very beautiful Miss Mexico for winning the Miss Universe crown. Somehow, that doesn't seem to carry as much flair as it used to. Instead, everyone seems to be licking their lips as to just when her scandal will hit the news.

It's almost as if by winning a pageant, people expect a scandal to follow. But really, so what if she had sex before, or if there are nude photos of her circulating around the net? It's not as if this is a pageant for virgins or Miss Pure.

Take the Mrs pageant I took part in. The good thing about it is there don't seem to be any scandals associated with it because - you must have screwed to be able to take part in the competition to begin with. No screwing, no children and no children, no entry to the competition. So who cares about any scandal from a Mrs pageant, even though there are more than enough stories to shake your world for a long time.
