The guy became a little awkward while the girl appeared eager to engage in deeper conversation with me. She nudged him to go get himself a coffee so that she could speak with me more.
Amazingly, her first question stunned me.
"How do you tell a man that the child you are carrying is not his?"
"Are you by any chance in that situation?" I asked curiously because she wasn't showing.
She nodded and I asked for more details. Apparently, they were about to tie the knot. He wanted to the moment he found out she was expecting.
I advised her to sort things out with him because this could be a huge mistake with serious repercussions to their marriage at a later stage. Hard as we try, these things always have a knack to crop up. We didn't get to speak much but she asked for my cell, and will be calling me over the weekend. According to her, they will be officially man and wife in three weeks.
