This month's advisory features a poster that was quite controversial. But as it is with most things controversial, it struck a chord with many. I think when dealing with something like AIDS, the only good way to promote safe sex is with a shock effect.

A friend of mine is quite the promiscuous lass but she refuses to use protection. I often bring it up to her but its been five years and she still refuses to do so. I know there is always the risk even with protection but she seems to think she is lucky.

The thing about feeling lucky is with this is that you only need your luck to run out once and you're done in. Friend or not, I just feel that she is being totally irresponsible. But what I won't do, is stop nagging her to take precautions. I hope if you do have a friend like mine, you will do the same.

BANK BET

I received this from Connie from Canada. She writes regularly to me but this time, she decided to send me some funnies. This one in particular is something I came across some years ago but still managed to make me laugh. I just love it and I can only visualise the late Estelle Getty from the Golden Girls playing the role of the old lady. It's a little long but I'm sure you will enjoy it too.

A little old lady goes into the Chase Manhattan Bank, and says she wants to open a savings account. The accounts person asks her how much she would like to deposit to open the account and the little old lady says, "Three million dollars."

The accounts person is startled, and says, "In what form?" and the little old lady says, "Cash. I've got it here in this bag..."

The accounts person looks and, sure enough, the lady has a big grocery bag just chock full of green stuff in big denominations. This is a highly unusual event, and the accounts person excuses herself to get the president of the bank to handle this one. He arrives, and escorts the little old lady to his office to handle it personally. Once in his office, he asks the little old lady where she got so much money. She says, "Gambling."

"Gambling?," he says. "What sort of gambling?"

"Oh, I make bets with people on all sorts of things, and I usually win. For example, I've got $100,000 right here that says that by noon tomorrow your balls will be square, and I'll even give you 4:1 odds. You got $25,000 you'd be willing to wager on that?"

The bank president is shocked at this sort of thing coming from a sweet little old lady, but he didn't get to be the president of the Chase Manhattan Bank without knowing something about money. "I suppose I could come up with enough to cover that sort of wager, but I wouldn't feel right taking it from you...there's no way you can win a bet like that!"

The little old lady just shook the bag, and said, "I know what I'm doing...and I can afford to lose, though I'm not going to. Is it a bet?"

"Ok, have it your way," said the president, and they shook hands on it.

"See you at 11:55 tomorrow morning," said the little old lady, and with that she left. Next morning at 11:55 the little old lady arrives with a younger man in a three-piece suit, and is escorted to the bank president's office. The president is a nervous wreck, though a happy one. He'd gotten almost no sleep the night before, waking every few minutes to feel his balls to check for impending squareness, but nothing happened all night. He had checked hundreds of times that morning, but still nothing; perfectly normal. When the little old lady arrived he started to relax, knowing he had won. "Come in, please have a seat! Who might this gentleman be?" said the president.

"He's my lawyer. For a bet of this size I want to have a witness. Any objections?"

"No, perfectly understandable," said the president.

"Well, it's now noon, and I'm still unchanged, so I guess I win!" he said happily.

"Not so fast!" said the little old lady. "For a hundred grand I want to verify things personally! Please drop your pants."

The bank president is a bit flustered, but agrees that in her position he'd want proof as well, so he drops his pants. The little old lady goes over to him and reaches out to feel the organs in question.

"Ok, you win, here's your $100,000," says the little old lady, handing over a bag of bills. As she does so, her lawyer starts banging his head against the wall and moaning.

"What's wrong with him?" asks the bank president.

"Oh, he's just upset. Poor loser if you ask me. You see, I had a bet for $1,000,000 with him that I would have the President of the Chase Manhattan Bank by the balls by noon today."

FASHION SANS ANIMALS

If there is one thing I feel strongly about in the modelling world is the association with the use of furs in clothes. While the apparel industry has by and large scorned at furs, I fail to believe the sincerity in trying to keep animal furs out of the industry.

While furs may no longer be used in most part, you still see many fashion shows or models in magazines still donning animal prints. How suggesting is this? It does not remove any aspiration for someone to fall in love with it and want to get something like that. For those who can afford it, they might even head into the realms of blackmarket furs to get their fur-fix.

If there is really a desire to keep away from animal furs, there should not be any indications whatsoever. That is the way to go which I think designers and apparel manufacturers should adopt, if they are sincere at lease.

THE GREEN DISEASE

This week's video is about sexual jealousy. It's really something that I personally have come across on numerous occasions. It can be quite a turn-off and more often than not, there is a nagging pressure to change your personality to suit the other party.

I for one certainly am not prepared to do it. Which is why, if you are the friendly and sociable sort of person, you ought to let your partner know about it. It's good not to leave them out of your social outings with friends whenever you can. Of course, that said, many people change the moment they get married. In some cases, it's really like night and day.

But in truth, the onus is on us to show our true selves because if not, one day, the failure to do that will come back to haunt us. I recall an ex of mine who was cool initially but suddenly turned into a green monster each time I so much as smiled at another guy. It was a living nightmare and I felt frustrated not being able to be myself. But I was younger then and much wiser (I hope) these days.

DEATH OF A DILDO

I'm always excited and just can't wait to get home when I get a new sex toy. What I do however not look forward to are days like today, when one of my favourite dildos reaches its end-of-life. Okay, okay, okay, I've been bitching about how shitty so many of the parties have become lately. But too much?? No. What's going on guys?? A bunch of these hosts are NOT controlling their parties and their guests lists. Fuck it hosts -- if you're going to charge a fee or a "donation" to get into your parties, then you damn well need to make sure that I'm getting something for my money -- especially when you promote your party a certain way. If you're party is an "open door" party -- cool by me. I personally won't be going, but at least you're fucking honest. Cool by me. I am disappointed to post this review from a DICKPLAY regular who is clearly very pissed at last night's party. Here he is in his own words...

"I'm sorry to say that a party that I have loved for years, Ed and Steve's uptown "Dickplay" party, has to be added to the list of parties that have absolutely NO door policy: it is open door, no matter what your appearance or smell. Recently, I attended a party to which a man somewhere between the ages of 75 and 90 was admitted. My nose can attest to the fact that he had not had a bath in recent history, and my eyes to the fact that his long, nicotine-stained beard had not had a trim since the first George Bush was President.

The host informed me that he was admitted because he was "a co-sponsor of the GSA parties." For me, that is simply not enough of a credential. This guy went around pestering every hot activity in the party, preceded by his pungent smell.

I have to add that I am not an ageist: well-groomed guys of a certain age are just fine by me. But this guy should retire from sex parties altogether, or at the very least take one bath for every decade that he is older than the other oldest party goer. It’s hard to believe now, but there was a time that THE OLYMPUS PARTY was huge and had hot guys and I used to really enjoy the scene there – especially before the party moved to the duplex. OPEN HOUSE Review. Open House? More like Open Door

When I started this blog, I'll admit I was kind of an asshole -- and very judgmental -- about the parties that were for out-of-shape guys because it wasn't me, or my thing. Well, some of the hosts of these parties explained that their parties were advertised for average, out-of-shape, and even a few for guys in "bad" shape, and very clear about who would be there. I thought, well, that's cool: not for me, but if that's what you're into -- totally cool. So, now I try to explain in my listings what the crowd is for each party.

What pisses me off is when hosts insist that their parties are "selective" and for hot guys when they have an "open door" policy and will let anyone in. The most recent offender is ROCK SOLID, which after a few parties changed their name to OPEN HOUSE. ROCK SOLID, my ass -- OPEN HOUSE is a better name, or maybe OPEN DOOR would be more appropriate.

The emails and listing this host has on Adam4adam are totally misleading. On Adam4adam he writes: "Hot weekly party...All ages and races just being in shape." One of my regular readers went to the party a few weeks ago and wrote me review about how most of the guys at the party were out of shape. He ONLY went because the host had said over and over again in his emails that ROCK SOLID was very selective. It wasn't. Now that it's called OPEN HOUSE actually writes in his weekly emails: "In the previous parties, we were trying to see if we would succeed. and WE DID!!! We will have our party permanent on Thursdays and we are hoping to extend it to other days soon after all HOT guys we had for the past few weeks. Tonight,03/17/2010, we are having again the selective crowd.” Selective? Don't believe it.

Another example? Even though I warned guys on my blog after my reader reviewed OPEN HOUSE, another one of my readers -- a guy from out of town, decided to check out the party for himself. He should have listened! Here's what he wrote me...

"Just left the Open House. Awful! About ten guys only one or two were younger and attractive. Most looked in their 50s and out of shape. One ugly dude was really aggressive and wouldn't leave me alone. I just left. Awful."

Almost exactly the experience of the first guest blogger! Guys, don't believe OPEN HOUSE. My advice -- unless you like being groped by old, flabby, grunting guys, avoid the parties hosted by these liars, and go to the few that deliver what they promise.
