In response to the post about Sandy, some reader's wrote in expressing their sympathy and empathy. Thanks and it was a very sweet gesture on your part. But the most "poignant, simple yet significant one came from Katerina from Australia who wrote:  "Trust me, it will get worse before it gets better but when it does get better, you will feel like you have wings carrying you around. You will definitely be stronger."

Another reader, JohnnySeaman, from Malaysia wrote, "The most important thing is to get the kids' lives straightened out. The next most important thing is to learn from it."

Lisa from the Philippines made this contribution: "Never discount the power of intimacy in a marriage. It has benefits that you will not see but over time, you will feel. Let's hope you learn that and don't repeat the same thing in your next relationship."
