AVOID THE KISS STOPPERS

I was having a conversation with a girlfriend of mine the other day. We met for lunch and after our meal I was indicating to her that she had a piece of parsley stuck between her teeth. We started talking about it and agreed that it could be a kiss stopper.

Besides bad breath, I think getting food stuck between your teeth is surely a recipe to end any intention someone may have to kiss you. So I jotted down some tips during our conversation and decided to post it on Missus Singapore. So here they are and they focus mostly on keeping the breath good.

1. Always carry a little bottle of mouthwash in your purse. Having some floss handy is also a good idea.
2. Never leave home without a box of mints and always have a box tucked away in your bedside drawer just in case you have to wake up with company beside you.
3. When brushing your teeth, don't forget to brush your tongue too and also the roof of your mouth since it is where lots of the bad-breath germs hang out.
4. After every few bites, make sure you delicately touch the sides of your mouth with a napkin, whether you think there is anything there or not.
5. Before you leave the restaurant, excuse yourself to do a thorough check of your teeth and of course, use your mouthwash.

Hope that helps.
