Since we are on the subject of brasseries this week, I thought that this poster would be ideal to share with the fairer sex amongst you. Interestingly, I knew this British gal who used to wear - believe-or-not - water-bras. According to her it gave her perfect support and fitting because it just took to the contours of the natural shape of breasts.
And not that she needed to - she was a 36C - but with it on, you could give the impression it was a NATURAL cup or two bigger just by adding more water to it. And no she wasn't in entertainment or anything like that but an owner of a cleaning company. That was the first time I had ever heard of a water bra? Gosh do people really have so much time?
A friend of mine, well actually, an old colleague of mine had always seemed to have rather high sitting breasts. She wore sports bras all the time and only when we went on a holiday together and were showering did I notice why? Her tatas were so huge that I used to tease that they could knock out a hippo without any problem. She used to complain about never being able to find the right bra in Singapore, or in Asia for that matter. Well now, with the Internet, I'll bet that she dresses them up much better than in an unimaginative sports bra.
Another Singaporean girlfriend has a collection of bras from all over the world. Now how different could a bra from Japan be from a bra in Alaska, one might ask? Well, the structures and basic designs are the same but in terms of access, hooks, material and straps, I was really surprised how varied they really are. But seriously, collecting bras? I guess it's really no different from collecting wines.
Missus Singapore out!
