RID THE STINKY

Welcome to the start of a new week on Missus Singapore. Check out this week's video. I decided to put it up because of my personal peeve against body odor. Just last week, I had the unpleasant experience of standing beside someone who really stank big time. I was on the train heading for an early morning appointment.  

Contrary to what the video may suggest - that men are the culprits, well after my experience, I beg to differ. Both are equally culpable. I'm not so particular if you just came out of a game or had a workout. However, when it comes to well-dressed people heading presumable to work... 

This woman I was standing beside was all dressed up in a smart business suit. Initially, I didn't think it was her because there were bodies really packing the rush-hour. But after people began filtering out of the train, she was left standing there with me and I just couldn't breathe. I found a seat later but to my bad luck, the seat beside me was soon vacated and guess who came and planted herself beside me, stinkiness and all!

I distracted myself by trying to pin-point what the smell was. Yeah I know, it sounds rather weird. Unfortunately, it was nothing I had ever come across before. The best I can describe it is a mix of a day-old soggy shoe and curry that has curdled over a few days. Yup, it was that bad.

One tool of attraction that many people ignore is how they smell. They do all they can to spruce their looks but perfume does not sit for long in this climate we have here.You hook someone with your looks, reel them in and when they get close enough, they cut you loose. Don't even think about anything physical.

It is our responsibility to ourselves and our friends that we should smell good. We should take the trouble to ask someone we trust to tell us how we smell from time to time. A good friend, a relative, etc. someone who can be honest with us.

Now having said that, I also know that some people have inherent bad breadth and body odor that can be attributed to a medical condition. Nonetheless, there is no reason why they do not seek treatment for it. I had a friend who had really bad body odor for some clogged up sweat pores. All the perfume in the world is not going to make you smell good if there is a medical condition behind it.

She knew about it but didn't know what she could do about it until she found a doctor who actually put her under a therapy which involved some UV light. Not exactly sure what it was but long story short, she smells like a peach these days, although we still tease her every now and then - Stinky Melia. Her name is Amelia as you might have guessed.

Anyway, smell good and have a great week ahead.

SWINGING WITH MS

Thanks for all your comments, emails, photos, jokes and cartoons, not to mention offers to swing with you guys. I will try my best to reply to all your queries but bear with me okay.

I am really amazed by just how many of you are really interesting and curious about the lifestyle and in a way kind of honoured that you should even consider directing your questions to me. One thing for sure is that I will definitely revisit with the subject sometime soon, perhaps share even more of my swinging adventures with you, since so many of you have shared yours.

KEEP EXPECTATIONS IN CHECK

One of the key things to ensure that you harness the full enjoyment of swinging is to keep expectations in check. Very often, people get too caught up with looks or a lack of it that they start getting disillusioned by it. In Singapore, its often a case of fair-skinned preferences.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that they are racists but many squirm at the sight or thought of anyone darker then them. Ironically, it is not only the fair-skinned girls but even the tanner ones. To be fair, it is their prerogative to do so but by listing down your requirements, you are taking out the essence of swinging which is about surprise and adventure into the unknown. 

Of course you should be mindful about scanning potential swinging partners but to some extent, you should give one the benefit of the doubt. Besides, you have your partner with you so it is unlikely for anyone to try any funny business or get violent. In the 16 years since I discovered this, I've had my fair share of weirdos but it comes with every territory. Just use your common sense and good judgment and you should be fine. Have fun - that is the main thing.

The swinging lifestyle is all about an immersion into others, an interaction and engagement and exploration into your sexuality which should not be governed by biases and racist sentiments. If you cannot do that, don't get in. Understand the lifestyle before you get in it.

IT'S NOT CHEATING

I've often heard many people express unfavourable views about swinging. Anything from it not being moral, not respecting the sanctity of marriage or that it is just perverted. Well, I'm sure these views stem a lot from not fully understanding what swinging is all about.

Granted, it is not for everyone, it should not be any worse than the numerous people who are cheating behind their spouse's backs. Infidelity is on the rise everywhere. In Asia, the most common cause of divorce is the emergence of a 'third party' in the relationship.

Swinging is however not cheating. I know many swinging couples who have strong relationships but to be fair, I also know many non-swinging couples who also have a strong bond. The only sure thing I do know about swinging is that it is definitely not cheating. It is indeed not for anyone but yourself to judge if this is a lifestyle you can benefit from.

Review of Sunday's PRIVATE PARTY

Dudes, as my readers know, I'm always recommending PRIVATE PARTY, and this Sunday's party was great as usual. The next party is a few weeks away on Wednesday, December 1.

"I was referred to your blogspot several months ago because I have always been curious about a gay group sex party. Although you had all the information that I needed I was very unsure about how to proceed. I am a handsome, worked-out,ivy-league educated attorney with no interest in rec drugs and only interested in safer sex.I was uncomfortable about sending pictures let alone an interview to join a group but I also thought that the "open" parties could not be what I would want. Last week I finally contacted the host of Private.Party,since you suggested this party is best for the uninitiated. I was greeted warmly at the door by the host and offered a drink and made to feel very comfortable before it was my turn. Moments later I am having a naked chat with 3 charming gentlemen ,who made me feel so at ease and sooo eager to be part of this group. The rest of the men interviewing seemed similar in age and stats to me but 2 were turned down for some reason. The venue is large but not huge, clean and nice and well-lit ,which was important to me.Refreshments were plentiful and all other needs in large supply.Members started to arrive at 8 and by 8:30 it seemed very active---I was a kid in a candy store . Everywhere around me were truly attractive guys talking , laughing, catching up and having more sex than I actually thought one could handle in a few hours. It was all so inclusive--I did not realize that you could have a large group of gay men in one room and not be overwhelmed with attitude and airs. The rest was a blur of more fun than I have had since college. I left with phone numbers, e mails and ,I think, a handful of new friends. I am sorry that there is a month gap between his events. So,chastised and educated ,I learned that if you submit to a screening and interview you will be part of a group that knows how to interact socially, sexually and safely. They did a great job. It seemed like everyone had all kinds of fun.
I noted the next few of these parties and will eagerly return on Dec. 1 .But now,Evan,am spoiled and all else will be downhill in the group sex circuit? OLYMPUS Halloween Bust!

Hey guys -- there were MANY parties on Halloween weekend. One of my frequent readers sent me (at my urging) his review of the OLYMPUS Halloween Party, which sounds kinda scary - and not in the fun Halloween way. Here you go...

"Went to Olympus party for halloween at gramercy duplex. What a disappointment! I arrived on about 9.30pm. We had to be naked wearing only a zorro mask Downstairs, nobody upstairs... Maybe 15 people, out of shape / average / old guys. Later on some othe guys showed up which 2 afr-amer guys that I enjoyed to suck a lot and a young in shape latino whom I rimmed. Beside a cumwhore that was taking all possible loads (not mine cos I playu safe only) there was no fucking. It goes without saying I won't go back there. Thanks for your blog and yr advices! Keep up the good work!"

Too bad -- to those of you with very good memories, OLYMPUS was once a fun (and HUGE) party.
