MONEY FOR NOTHING

I met up with two women who - for lack of a better word - 'advertise' themselves on an adult website. Essentially, it's a site where consenting adults meet to become sex friends and well, have sex.

So I promised not to use their names. Let's name them L & T then. Both are in their late 20s and are sexy as hell. (Two reasons for me to hate them like hell.) But they are really sweet girls and both are Chinese and unmarried. L is a property consultant while T (another reason for me to hate her) is a fitness instructor, who has apparently appeared in the local newspapers sometime last year for a fitness column.

We chatted about lots of things and one of which is about why they ask for money in return for sex. I honestly don't care how you go making a living as long as you don't hurt any children or animals. They both admitted that it was just for sex previously, no exchange of money at all. However, after one too many bad experiences where they guys just did not give them any pleasure in bed, they decided that their time was more valuable than wasting their time over 'bad fucks', as T puts it.

"Let's just say that we girls are a luxury item. The guys need us. So even if they can't perform, at least we are getting something from them. Now I don't worry if a guy can perform or make me feel good. At least at the end of the day, I am rewarded for my time,' says T.

L, who met T through a group thingy at the site agrees.

"Guys should be paying girls to have sex, whether or not we are hookers or not. I can't tell you how many just disappoint. Now I just go out there, do my thing and get paid."

MS: I must say their views are interesting ones which have hit the nail on the head for me in more instances than I can imagine. To think about it, I recall joking with some guys before about charging them for being a friend with benefits. One guy had the cheek to tell me I should be paying him for his tool. Well, after meeting L & T, I am certainly going to change my views and approach.

As L says, "Gals don't need guys as much for sex as it is the other way around."

How true! So I am considering!!!

THE SWEET SPICE

I absolutely love strawberries. It's up there alongside mangoes as one of my favourite fruits.

I interviewed an Australian nutritionist for an online article last week and she was telling me how important it was for one's sex life. I knew that already but the fact that the body tends to assimilate its nutrients much faster got my attention.

The seeds of the strawberry contain high levels of zinc which have often been related to sex. It's not just an important component for men but for women as well. For the males, it helps upping testosterone levels and for us women, zinc helps our bodies prepare for sex more quickly if the levels are raised. Simply put, we get into the mood faster.  

She recommends that men and women consume a handful of strawberries or even raspberries to get ready for sex.

Besides the effects of zinc, these fruits are also high in anti-oxidants which help to optimise the blood flow to the sex organs. Just a few of them will do the trick due to its low glycaemic load as compared to any other fruit. This means that they provide a sustained energy level at only a few calories. But seriously, if you are going to have a good workout in bed, you won't worry too much since you would have burnt it all up after.

I like mine plain but occasionally bring in a can of whipped cream. I have a friend who swears by having hers with peanut butter. To each his own. Just sink your teeth in them, enjoy its glorious natural taste and garner its benefits in bed.

YOU'VE GOT LAID!

I read about this 25-year-old bargirl from the UK, Louise, who scours the net for sex with men. To date, she has had over 200 men, every one from some adult dating sites (READ: Sex date sites).

She mentioned how she had just come out of a relationship and was missing sex so much. That prompted her to start surfing and getting laid on her terms. She claims it is safer than meeting men at bars.

Anyway, what I found most interesting were the comments that followed. A number were open-minded and felt it was her prerogative but most disturbing was how many others were judging her when they hardly even knew the woman.

Perhaps the most annoying ones came with religious overtones.

Now I don't want to get involved with these religious types but for goodness sake, if you think about what she is doing, it is hardly worse than how many others live their lives - with deceit, duress, lies, infidelity, abuse, etc.

She chooses to use her body thus so why should anyone bother. People are always spending way too much time poking insults and judgments on others that they just forget to live their own lives or turn around their own pointless lives. Sometimes I feel, they are just a little jealous about how others are having fun.

If someone comes to you and ask for help, that is a different story. But obviously, the only help Louise needs is to cum.

She lives her life, she bears the consequences - end of story. In any case, I totally support her. After all given the chance, any men would want to fuck 200 women. If he does so, he will get labeled as a stud!

The other group of nay-sayers seem to be the psychologists or shrinks, who are certain she is heading for a emotional brick wall. Granted some people do it recklessly and are addicted to it but again, have they ever thought that some others are just fine and can handle it perfectly well. Let's put it this way, how many times have you heard a shrink get his/her diagnosis wrong? Enough said.

Incidentally, I met this waitress once at a bar here in Singapore. It was a slow night and we started talking. Long story short, she too would sometimes screw the male patrons who came in.

According to her, she had slept with around 100 guys over the three years she was there. When I asked if she was happy, she told me that she hadn't been happier. She didn't intend to do it all her life but was just taking a break from guys using her - so she decided to use them instead.
