MALE PORN STAR ON MS?

I just got off the phone with this guy who was recommended to me by a reader of my blog who suggested I interview the fellow for my 'Missus Singapore Gets Intimate With...' column.

I was a little suspicious at first but he seems rather legit. Apparently, this guy who is from the Philippines, is a porn actor! I don't know how this will pan out but let's just wait and see. To be honest, I've never watched a Filipino porn movie ever but I expect it should be around the lines of get naked, get screwed, get off, the end.

That's just it with porn which is what turns many women away from it. Many female readers admit that they only enjoy porn when there is a story line. I can't think of too many in distant memory that falls into that category.

But anyway, imagine that. If he really is what he says he is - he intends to show me a few professional clips - then I'll be more than excited about peeling his onion of a story, among other things.

THE NET SUCKS

I suppose the Internet has its advantages in terms of how easy it is to surf for porn. But I think because of that, it has also killed the excitement. It's no longer taboo or the unknown and it doesn't make you go wow when some 'rare' adult magazine to show you. You want it, you log on and you get it. Bor-ring!

Nothing like a live sex show. Lots of them around in these parts (not in squeaky-clean Singapore though). Ask around and I'm sure you will find them.

PORN TURNS HER ON TOO!

The debate is over! A US study carried out last year found that women are aroused by pornography. Using eye-tracking technology and questionaires, US researchers found that women do get equally aroused by pornography.

There popular choice of porn include those with story-lines, man and woman (not so much close-ups though), woman and woman and to an equal extent, more men and one woman. But interestingly, it was also found that women on birth control pills did not pay as much attention to genitals as their counterparts who were not using them.

I suppose those on birth control are probably those who were on it because they either had accidents or have given birth - so there is a little resentment in a man's genitals after what they caused!

Also it was found that the least arousing porn scenes include oral sex - something that is significant because men love these scenes most.

For me, I admit that porn has somewhat lost its draw - no thanks to its proliferation on the Internet. There is no more mystery or excitement when you can easily get it unlike before. But one thing remains - I still like those with a storyline to it. Corny or not, like those 70s or 80s flicks, there still outclass what's currently available.

SEX BITS

In a previous installment of Sex Bits, I mentioned some gangbang where a woman had sex with 500 men or there about. But I totally forgot that prior to that record being broken, a Singaporean woman actually held it.

She was Annabel Chong, who had sex with some 251 men. I am not sure how many hours she took but it was her claim to fame I suppose.

I remember when it was reported in the local media, many locals and Asians, for that matter, condemned her antics. I for one hailed her as a woman brave enough to do what she wanted to do without anyone telling her to do this or that.

Here is a woman many of us can learn from. No, I'm not suggesting we all go out and get fucked silly by several busloads of horny dudes, but when it comes to chasing our goals in life.

There was a documentary on her, a play and I think even a book was written about her life. She never once regretted it, which is a lot more than what I can say for a whole load of women, who have more regrets than shoes.

It is always "I should have done this before!', 'I wish I had taken the risk then!', 'Why didn't I try it out?'.

Well the good thing is that it's never too late to chase your goals.

In a way, I subscribe to Annabel's way of life. Strike while the iron is hot. All hail the great Annabel. I for one am proud of her for putting Singapore on the porn map!

WHERE PORN AND ART MEET

Normally I don't put up in your face kinda photos but I'll make an exception this time. I received a wonderful series of sketches from a kind reader, Melpose34 (not sure who he or she is). I've picked this one which is kinda nice. If any of you know who the artist is, let me know. :-)

Anyway, we do have a lot of batik (Indonesian art) paintings of nude women and my hubby had a few in his home when he was young. He recalls how his dad would always rush around the house taking them down whenever his elder sister who was a catholic nun, would announce that she was around the corner and dropping in!

When you compare those pictures with this, I guess that was tame. But how things have changed? Nudity is still very much in these parts viewed with scorn but at least there is more of it getting around.

In the papers the other day, a woman complained about this man who lives across from her. She would always catch him come out of the bathroom stark naked. I'm just thinking that maybe she is invading the poor guy's privacy. What is she doing always knowing when he takes his bath and comes out. Apparently, she caught him over 10 times in two weeks!!!! If that does not constitute a Peeping Mary, I wonder what is.
